Second of all I'd like to apologize for those who asked for a blog design on my design blog! So sorry I haven't done the things you requested yet but I promise I'll get right on it. My life has been very busy and haven't had much time.

And also a special thank you to all my followers =D Can't believe I got like 5 new followers this week. Love all of you guys.

We are the Artist's paintbrushes

God is an artist; and we are all his paintbrushes. If we allow him to guide us freely- he will create in us a beautiful masterpiece.

This is just a quote I wrote that I thought I'd share with you all =)

Character Sketches

So the wonderful sisters Julia and Jenny at Maidens of virtue did these awesome character sketches for my book in progress I'm currently writing! Didn't they do a great job?

Here are the two characters they did for me and I hope they might make me some more characters in the near future.

Character sketch: Tess

Personality profile – strong willed, clever, and witty. Is often very curious and gets herself into trouble because of her natural curiosity.
Role in my book -- As the main Character Tess is strong willed and very curious. She is a very deep, caring person but sometimes has a hard time sharing her feelings. She is sometimes quick to judge and her spoiled lifestyle has made her a bit selfish. But when terrible things happen and her loved ones are in danger she does not hesitate to jump to their safety- no matter the cost.
Her greatest fear -- that her best friend will go to the king's army and maybe never return.

Character sketch: Alanna

Personality profile – quiet, reserved, caring, and very passionate about the wellbeing of others
Role in my book -- Alanna is one of my main characters in my book. She is Tess's closest friend. She's sweet, kind, and has a lot of responsibility weighing on her shoulders.
Personal quote: "Sometimes the things that we believe are best for us are really not. Only the future will tell."

Hope you all enjoyed this =) Thank you so much Jenny and Julia for doing this for me!

P.S. Hopefully I'll do another one of these soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^I love this song so much^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope ~  the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.
Many people say hope and faith in God are the same thing. But that's not exactly true. Faith is believing that God can do something. Hope is believing he will.
Hope is a very precious thing. It's something that helps us keep going through the hard times and looking forward to the good times. Hope is never ending and when you have it you'll never give up; you'll never stop believing. But so many people loose their hope. Yes; they believe that God can bring us through our trials but they have stopped believing that he will.
God puts us through testing-sometimes a lot of testing. But he always will bring us through if we keep faith, trust, and hope in him.
   I must admit to you guys that a few months ago I gave up hope so to speak. So many things have happened the last couple of weeks and it seemed like one thing bad after another happened until the point that I thought it would never end. I pretty much gave up hope. I looked at every thing on the negative side and thought that nothing would turn out for good. I slipped away from where I should have been with God.
   Hope is a very powerful thing. Don't ever give it up.
Rom.12:12- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
We must rejoice in the Lord even when times are hard, we must be patient in times of trouble and wait upon him, and we must always be constant in prayer. A thing I noticed when I began to loose hope was that I was slacking greatly in my bible reading and prayer life.
 Replace those thoughts of worry with thoughts of hope, faith, and victory
Have you lost hope? Are you facing something in your life right now that is just weighing you down with worry and despair? Let me tell you this- There is always a rainbow at the end of the rain, a calm after a storm, peace after despair, and hope after worry...if we just keep our eyes on Jesus. I can say today that he has brought me out of every storm I've ever faced. Because I believe he used those storms to make me stronger. Yes; we will get hurt in life, yes we will probably suffer. But if you have Jesus you have everything. And He will give you hope if you turn to him.
and in closing I would like to tell you all some wonderful news. Our house sold. This is such a relief to me! We've been trying to sell it for months now and God has finally answered our prayers! I know there are still going to be problems down the road. Moving is always stressful and now we need to find a house in KY, etc. but I know who holds my future- and he's doing a wonderful job of taking care of me right now even if I don't always see it so I know that what he has in store for me must be beautiful and wonderful.
New year~New goals
Hope you all had a wonderful New Year =) Today I'm going to post some goals I have for this year! I was going to post yesterday but I didn't have time =/
I've always liked this quote
Ok so to be honest 2013 was not the year for me! Lol; let's just say I didn't really reach any of the goals I planned for the year =/ 2013 was probably the busiest year of my life but that's no excuse for not reaching any of my goals! But I hope that 2014 is going to be different =)
1) loose weight- I've been saying this forever but I hope this is the year that I pursue it.
2) write a LOT more- have a writing schedule and stick to it.
3) Have a daily schedule- make more use of my time
4) Get into art and D.I.Y more. I never do things like this.
5) Read my Bible more
6) Be a better daughter, sister, and a better person all together
7) Have a closer relationship with God
8) actually accomplish my goals =D
Alright then! I hope I really accomplish these goals. I hope you all made some goals for the New year and I hope that we all keep them!
Let go
 "So I’ll stand with arms high and heart abandoned  In awe of the One who gave it all  So I’ll stand, my soul Lord to You surrendered  All I am is Yours."
Letting go
She stood silently on an old, abandoned road, rain pouring, winds blowing, and storms brewing.
Her hair tossed back and forth, and her eyelids sparkled with raindrops, water poured off her fingertips, and her heart beat heavily in her chest.
she lifted her arms, lifting her face towards the sky.
I’m yours God. she whispered. I’m yours.
I’m letting go. I’m letting go of my life and putting it in your arms.
I trust in you. She softly muttered, I’m yours.
